The term e-waste refers to electronic waste which is generated from obsolete electronic devices. Such devices contain various toxic and hazardous chemicals that should be disposed of with proper care or else they can harm the environment to a great extent.
It is the process of recovering useful material from obsolete devices and make it ready to be used in new products.
Electronic devices such as mobile phones, TVs, computers, laptops, etc. reach obsolescence very quickly. These ultimately ends up in landfills, leading to a massive heap of e-waste.
